Very privately located homely chalet within the village centre of Les Houches. The chalet offers very comfortable and spacious accommodation in a beautifully renovated alpine farm dating from 1835. The ancient fabric of this chalet has been lovingly preserved: age-old local stone, original timbers and exposed beams. Discreetly and beautifully furnished in the manner of an exclusive private mountain lodge.
The main open-plan living room has a magnificent fire-place and soaring cathedral ceiling, overlooked by the galleried sitting area of the top floor suite. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen/dining room area on the ground floor has an enormous french range cooker and wood burning stove and large farmhouse table that comfortably accommodates 12 people. The accommodation sleeps twelve persons in four twin/double bedrooms and one master double bedroom in the top floor suite. Each bedroom has an en-suite.
There is a comfortable children’s corner equipped with DVD player, Wii and Playstation. Enclosed courtyard garden with barbecue facilities. Use of outdoor hot tub by prior arrangement only.
