Chalet Cragganmore is the creation of interior designer Jennifer Martin and award winning Architect Renaud Chevallier. Renaud is a third generation local architect; a rising star who studied in both Paris and New York.
The mountains are the backdrop of this design with a move away from the traditional small window ‘chocolate box’ design, centred around the views – the chalet is known locally as “The Glass House”.
Cragganmore’s incredible eco credentials include triple glazing, superb insulation and a geothermal heating system supported by L’Arve river that flows behind the house. The hot tub is heated in the same way and adds a touch of luxury to the chalet, perfect for late night stargazing.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area has floor to ceiling windows and incredible views of Mont Blanc and Aiguille Du Dru.
