This luxury Chamonix apartment is on the first floor of a standalone chalet right in the middle of Chamonix. It has been newly renovated to an extremely high standard with wooden floors throughout, floor to ceiling French windows in most rooms, halogen lighting, under floor heating and granite surfaces where ever possible!
The surrounding balconies just give the most amazing views of the Mont Blanc Massif and Aiguilles du Midi and you can watch the Midi cable car arriving and disappearing into the views of Mont Blanc. Although such a central location, it is surrounded by private garden areas used only by the chalet residents and is a very quiet spot.
The large windows allow sunlight all day long and there are electric shutters on each one for rest at night. The enormous kitchen covered in granite surfaces, contains all modern appliances (dishwasher, extractor fan, fridge-freezer, full oven, halogen-hob, washer-dryer) – its also boasts a superb breakfast bar and has access to a huge balcony.
The dining area contains a large dining table with 8 leather chairs. This leads to a restful lounge area with a large sofa, comfortable stools, 2 leather chairs and a magnificent log fire. There is also a separate TV area with a 60 inch plasma TV with UK freeview channels, a DVD player and an additional sofa bed for the kids to flop into. Both the lounge and dining area open up French windows leading to a huge balcony with Mont Blanc views.
There are 3 luxury bedrooms each with ample storage and great views. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 twin beds and bedroom 3 a full size set of bunk beds. Both Bedroom 2 and 3 have balcony access with Mont Blanc views and bedroom 1 views of Aiguille du Midi and Les Drus.
The main bathroom leads off bedroom 1 and contains a jacuzzi style bath, full separate shower unit, 2 granite basins, plus a WC, storage and a large mirror. The second bathroom contains a shower unit plus granite basin. There is also a separate wash room. There is garage underneath the chalet for private use and ski storage.
There are other apartments in the same building making larger groups possible. The apartment also comes with a free wireless ADSL internet connection. This luxury apartment is probably equipped to one of the highest in Chamonix and is ideal for a large family, 2 small families or a group of friends wanting to enjoy the best of Chamonix.
