Location of the Chalet
The nearest ski area is Brevent, 5 minutes by bus from the main stop on Route des Pelerins or 5 minutes by car.
The chalet is 5 minutes (550 yds) from the acclaimed Italian restaurant “l’impossible”, the “Jekyl and Hyde” ‘pub’, which offers a good range of pub food for the family. There is also the central bus stop, bowling, equipment hire and a pizza take-away. A further 5/10 minutes walk will take you to the broader range of restaurants and shops, in central Chamonix. For large food shops there is a Carrefour supermarket and petrol station – 5 minutes drive away or a Super U (750m) in les Pelerins.
Building and sustainability
Our chalet was built to our specifications to maximize the scenery, heat efficiency and to try being environmental, in materials used, energy sources and sustainability. The windows are triple glazed, and the chalet uses water under floor heating and solar panels for energy.
