Five bedroom homely winter season chalet in Argentiere, Chamonix
Located in the village of Argentiere, ‘The Retreat’ is one of the most charming ski chalets to be found in the Chamonix Valley – a true winter wonderland. This magnificent luxury 4-bedroom chalet with studio is nestled within the forest behind the 18th century village of Argentiere.
The Retreat has a mountain style chalet ambience with open-plan living area, comfortable sofas and a huge central open fireplace. There is a flat screen TV,DVD and Apple player as well as a film library and toys and games for the kids. The dining area can sit eight guests and the open-plan kitchen makes meal times particularly social and enjoyable.
Four bedrooms are set up as one master double en-suite bedroom with bath, one double/twin en-suite with shower, and two double/twin bedrooms sharing a bathroom with bath and shower. The is also a self-contained studio with a single bed, small equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom with shower.
The location is idealic and has two mountain streams flowing past either side of the chalet adding to the ambience of being tucked away in a real mountain retreat. An outdoor hot tub sits adjacent to one of the streams, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the amazing views and beautiful surroundings of the chalet. There is also an outdoor wood fired sauna.
