About the Chamonix Apartment.Apartment Moulin is a truly unique one bedroom apartment sleeping from 2 to 4 people, next to the river in central Chamonix.
Step out the front door and you are in the heart of Chamonix and its exclusive shops, bars and restaurants. The ski bus, serving all the ski areas stops just a a few steps from the front door.
The apartment has been laid out to create maximum living space with lovely exposed beams, it is an ideal retreat in both summer and winter. The apartment has undergone a complete refurbishment this summer with almost every item replaced, from bedding to cutlery, crockery to furniture.
The lounge/dining area has doors opening out onto a south facing balcony for people to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun casting its last rays of light on the mountain tops. The lounge area has a double sofa bed settee with a comfortable mattress, Wifi, TV with British satelite coverage, ipod speaker / player, dining table/chairs. It also features a wood burning stove making it a wonderful place to curl up and recover after a hard day on the pistes.
The kitchen is separate to the living area and has a hob, microwave/oven, washing machine, fridge, and ample cooking / dining ware should you wish to cook in rather than eat out.
The bedroom has bedroom windows that open out from which you can, in the summer months, watch the white water rafters float by on the River Arve below, The bathroom is equiped with a shower unit, washbasin and toilet.
The apartment has a safe for valuables and an indoor lockable area for skis, boards.
The apartment is in a pedestrianised zone however there is both street and underground parking within minutes of the front door. |
